Microtomes

The Aquatec system provides the solution to the daily challenges of cutting demanding paraffin sections. Already during the cutting process, the section is stretched due to the temperature-controlled laminar water film.
The MTR quick-freezing unit consists of a compressor cooling system with a 2 m flexible isolation tube and a cooling block which can be adapted to a standard specimen clamp of different types of microtomes.

Embedding centers
The space saving MPS P I is a complete paraffin dispensing unit including a 3.8 liters paraffin container, a heated working area and a cooling spot. The ergonomically elevated heated working area is illuminated by an adjustable LED light and allows the comfortable processing of specimens.
The modular paraffin embedding center MPS P II features ease of operation, spacious working area, large paraffin container capacity. All modules operate at the same working height and can be arranged accordingly to laboratory requirements. The flexible 3-module system consists of a dispensing element MPS P, a prewarming module MPS W and a cooling plate MPS C or MPS CX.
The MPS P dispensing module has a large working area with integrated cooling spot. The working area has a special drainage system and guides spare paraffin into the extractable collection tray. The surface remains clean. This makes working and cleaning much easier.
To have enough molds ready, the MPS W has a mold warmer for up to 500 molds. Temperature freely selectable up to 80 °C. Take common baskets (like from the MTM tissue processor) and place them directly into the cassette area. The MPS W has a retractable lid for easy filling and operation.
The cooling modules MPS C and MPS CX enable fast and reliable cooling of paraffin blocks. A compressor-cooled work surface made of anodized aluminum offers homogeneous cold distribution and is easy to clean.
Water baths & slide warmers
The Slidetec Water / Heat water bath & slide warmer combination is designed for stretching paraffin sections and subsequent drying of the sections on slides in histology laboratories.
The Slidetec Heat slide warmer is designed for drying slides after the transfer of stretched paraffin sections in histology laboratories. The extremely robust aluminum surface withstands even rough everyday laboratory use and scores with a scratch-resistant surface.
The Slidetec Water water bath is designed for stretching paraffin sections in histology laboratories. The removable glass tray is easy to clean. The black heating tray and the integrated water bath illumination provide excellent contrast for optimal detection of sections on the water surface.
The paraffin stretching bath Slidetec Water S is a specialized bath for histological, pathological, clinical, and bacteriological laboratories for stretching and drying cut tissue samples.
Staining systems
With its simple user interface and sophisticated technology, the MSM carousel stainer is designed to meet the requirements for routine staining in histology and cytology laboratories. The device is equipped with 24 incubation stations containing up to 400 ml.
The Cromatec series represents maximum productivity and the highest economy in routine histology and cytology. It combines consistent staining quality with extraordinary ease of operation of the device.
The tissue stainer MAS combines flexibility with speed and opens new dimensions in the field of automation. Due to the large number of 44 stations, it is possible to work simultaneously with different staining protocols.
Printers
Printtec S slide printer can significantly increase the efficiency of your lab while helping to reduce the risk of misidentification of specimens. It prints directly onto slides, eliminating handwriting or expensive, difficult to apply xylene-resistant labels.
Cassette printer Printtec C can significantly increase the efficiency of the laboratory and at the same time reduce the risk of misidentification of specimens. The cassette printer Printtec C prints in black, monochrome or multicolor as required.
The expansion of the cassette printer Printtec C with the Autoloader offers even more efficiency to the workflow of the laboratory while reducing the risk of misidentification of specimens. The Autoloader has been specially designed for fast and efficient processing.
Consumables
The blades for microtomes feature a special plasma technology, that considerably improves the sharpness as well as the durability of the blades. In addition, further blades with innovative PTFE coating are available.

Paratec Premium consists of highly purified paraffin. With polymer additive for precise embedding and cutting.
Tissue processors
The MTP carousel tissue processor guarantees gentle and highly reliable specimen processing in connection with state of the art control features. The specimen throughput can be doubled to 240 cassettes per run with a second transport basket.
The vacuum tissue processors MTM I and MTM II combine state of the art technology with comfortable handling and design. The tissue processor MTM II also offers a cost-efficient and user-friendly alternative for the fast biopsy processing.
Cryostats
The model MEV features convenient operation and a modern rotary microtome. The space-saving design has a large stainless steel cryo-chamber, an effective freezing bar with 24 positions, and a cryo-chamber cooling temperature down to -35 °C.
The MNT high-end cryostat is designed for histopathology and research applications. The device is equipped with a fully automatic rotary microtome with extremely high mechanical stability and backlash-free roller guides.
Coverslippers
MCS I
Very efficient coverslipper in modular design. The combination uses a minimum of space and is a reliable device for the automation of your laboratory – also in times of small budgets. The coverslipper MCS I can be directly connected to the Stainer MAS. Simplify workflows: staining and coverslipping in one step.
MCS II
The innovative coverslipping technology enables an increased throughput and high reproducibility. The MCS II coverslipper is designed as an open and stand-alone system.

CS I / II
CS I and CS II centrifuges are a cost-effective alternative for monolayer cell preparation, providing consistent performance and user-friendliness. The CS II centrifuge is depending on the model equipped with cooling. Up to 10 memory programs can be saved.
